A special programme on Disaster Management was conducted on behalf of the YRC on February 21st, 2019.

Dr. M. Karthika, YRC Programme Officer, and Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce welcomed the gathering. The Presidential Address was delivered by our Principal Prof. Dr. P. Annammal.

Our Chief Guest Dr. B. Christudhas Williams, YRC District Organiser, gave a speech among the students about the importance of YRC and its activities across the world. Our Chief Guest E. Blithe Sudhar, First Aid Lecturer and Disaster Management Trainer in Field Coordinator, Indian Red Cross Society, Tamilnadu State Branch explained about the history of YRC and Disaster Management through PowerPoint presentation. He also taught practically about providing first aid and safeguarding ourselves and others during calamities, which was very helpful indeed.

Dr. K. Nithya Daimy, YRC Member, and Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, presented the Vote of Thanks.
