AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON ANTI-RAGGING2024

The Anti-Ragging committee of Infant Jesus College of Arts and Science for Women ,Mulagummodu organized a Awareness programme on 13th August 2024 in Sr.Agnes Auditorium at 2.30 p.m. The programme started with the prayer song followed by the welcome address given by Dr.A.Sruthi Mol, Anti-ragging committee coordinator. Dr. C. Arul Mary Thangam, Principal felicitated the gathering. Secretary Rev. Sr. Dr.Nirmala Sundara Raj delivered the presidential address.
The chief guest of the program was Mrs.P.Meena Kumari ,Sub Inspector of Police,All Women Police Station,Marthandam . she gave a talk about the offenses of Ragging and is strictly forbidden in or outside the campus. she also stated that if any student who suffers due to ragging or notices the occurrence of ragging shall immediately report the matter to the concerned authority. She also insisted that how a student has to lead life in the society. moreover she encouraged the students to contact the Anti ragging committee members by providing them the mobile numbers of the monitoring team .Finally the programme came to an end with a vote of thanks by Dr.Y.Ramani Bai, Assistant Professor of Chemistry.
